Helping to support you through pet bereavement.

We know how painful losing your beloved family member is, we have been there ourselves. We have teamed up with a wonderful bereavement counsellor to offer support to those who would like it.

Sarah is based in Shoreham-by-sea, where she offers face to face appointments in the town centre.

Online and telephone appointments are also available.

Sarah offers support through listening, offering her thoughts and observations from what she has heard. This can help to see things from a different viewpoint and make things feel clearer. Working with people Sarah looks to help with introducing a better balance into your life and realise your own importance.

Working with several issues, such as anxiety, bereavement, caring, guilt, loneliness, overwhelm, relationships, stress. Sarah qualified at the University of Brighton as a Humanistic Counsellor. In practice she draws on theories that include person-centred, existential principles, and transactional analysis. Sarah continues to update her practice through attending courses, workshops, reading, and networking with other professionals.

Having a background in working with carers and parents, Sarah understands the importance of being able to have space to think about how you are feeling. It could be that you have a difficult decision to make or coming to terms with a recent decision. You may have suffered a bereavement, or loss and it would be helpful to explore your feelings around this. If putting boundaries in place are tricky then it can be helpful to explore why, this can help to improve relationships and work through any feelings that may be getting in the way such as guilt, frustration or worry.
